I am so impressed with my new butterfly pillow. I have 3 prolapsed discs in my neck following a 30 year+ nursing career. Bought this for my 85 yr old husband. He has torn rotor cuffs in both his shoulders and the surgeon said they're too far gone for repair and he's too old for surgery. This pillow has the perfect balance — not too firm, not too soft. I have chronic RA and severe osteoarthritis in my spine which means I have difficulty finding comfortable sleeping positions as my cervical spine is compromised Your pillow has given me considerable relief if I sleep on my back. It took a few nights to get used to as normally I slept with my arm under me. Getting frozen shoulder and bursitis I had to consider a whole new way to sleep sideways. I bought this sleepsake butterfly pillow and the quality is very good and memory foam not to hard. There are two loft , one for the higher side and the other for the lower side. Unfortunately I am a very short person who has a very short neck. And don't get the full support, I did notice that I had no shoulder pain next morning. As your aware this butterfly pillow comes with 100 nights free trial and this is Awesome and it does state that any reason your not satisfied you can send it back, no questions asked. I have been experiencing neck and shoulder pain for over 12mths. I tried a cheaper butterfly pillow to see if it suited. I was a little bit more comfortable. So I decided to try sleepsake. Really liking this pillow. Have had shoulder pain waking me for over two years and this has stopped it. I have previously had neck issues and was worried they would return with changing pillows but my neck is great too (I’m a side sleeper). I don’t know how, but it works. I’ve just bought one for my dad as he has severe shoulder pain that wakes him frequently during the night so will be interesting to see if it works for him as well. I wasn’t fussed on the pillow cases so I’m just using my normal pillowcases. Highly recommend this pillow.

Like a lot of things on "the intenet" i was very sceptical. However, the relief was instant and I have been sleeping well without any shoulder pain. Not sure how it actually works, as im sleeping in my sore shoulder and waking up with a fully functional shoulder.

For years I've had chronic headaches due to shoulder and neck pain. I've bought other memory foam "neck pillows" that are supposed to adjust the angle of your head to keep your spine in line while you sleep, and those didn't help. My neck pain and headaches actually got worse. I started going for massages twice a month to release the knots in my rhomboid muscles and pressure points at the base of my skull. That helps temporarily to relieve the headaches, but my neck is still stiff every morning. I was very skeptical about this sleepsake pillow, thinking I'm wasting a lot of money on yet another pillow that claims to help with sleep and pain. But, I read the testimonials and decided to give it a try. I must say that I was extremely surprised after using it the first night and waking up with no neck pain. I read the instructions and watched the video on how to use it to get the best results, and it says you might not notice the difference until after a few days of using the pillow as you get used to the new position. I took that as, it might cause some discomfort before it starts feeling better. Because of this, I was expecting an uncomfortable first few nights. However, this pillow actually helped me right out of the gate! Since I started using it, I have not had any neck or shoulder pain or headaches! Sleeping on my side with all my weight on my shoulders is what was causing the pain. This pillow alleviates that by not putting any weight on your shoulders when you sleep. One thing that did take a little while for me to adjust to, was getting comfortable sleeping on that pillow. Finding the right position and side to use. Because the entire physical dynamics of the pillow is different from anything I've ever slept on, I kept tossing and turning most of the night for the first few weeks. Just WOW! I'm a tummy sleeper and this pillow allows it without hurting my neck and shoulders - no more pain, my husband snoring has reduced and we both have been having great nights sleep with these pillows, I've even found our normal pillowcase fits over it easily. This pillow even stops the dribbling when sleeping on our side. It doesn't look as weird with the normal pillow case over the top, lol.

The pillows don't work. The pillow needs 2 central plugs so that I as a side sleeper can roll over. I can't because of the single sleeping position and so wake up to readjust each time. Also the central position needs you to either push up into it or tip over- for the higher level. Disappointed.

I find it is too hot to sleep on for a whole night.
On opening the pillow I thought "I am never going to be able to sleep on that". However I gave it a try. I went off to sleep immediately and didn't wake up til the morning. I do not find it completely eliminates my shoulder pain, but it is much less intense and some nights I don't get any pain. Thank you "butterfly pillow"

Lovely soft pillow , nice on my neck
Sleeping on this pillow gave an instant improvement in my neck/base of skull pain and headaches, with no real settling in period. Fits inside my silk pillowcase so I can keep managing my very frizzy hair. I take it with me even when I travel now, and it compresses pretty well inside a roll up vacuum bag.
A bit early to give a true review, but so far I have found the Sleepsake pillow to be helpful with my rotator cuff injury. I'm a side sleeper and the pillow helps me sleep on the better side. Even though I still roll over on my bad shoulder, the pillow somehow wakes me up so I can correct my position. Because of the pillow forcing me to sleep on the correct side, I'm still getting used to the variation and not sleeping as well as I should, but I'm sure that will improve over time.
I really love mine but my husband isn’t a fan. He has gone back to using his old pillow. It took me some time to get use to. But I pushed through the initial few days and now I’m very happy with it.

My husband is sleeping so much better. He's not snoring & is having a more comfortable sleep. However it doesn't seem to be helping his sore shoulder when he lies on it. He says the problem is you have to lie in the middle of the pillow & as we often 'snuggle' through the night, it doesn't work & he ends up on my pillow.

This is the best pillow I have ever purchased. I have tried other supportive pillows which don't last long and tend to sag in the middle. I’ve had several neck and shoulder injuries plus a jaw injury, which have made sleeping a challenge. I’ve tried many pillows and so far this one has helped me the most. I ordered this pillow to help with my neck pain but when I first tried it, I couldn't adjust to the shape. As per the promise, I tried to return it. The team at Sleepsake asked for feedback but didn't hesitate to process a refund. They told me to keep the pillow, or pass it to someone else. I'm so glad they wouldn't take the pillow back, as after a particularly acute issue with my neck, out of desperation I gave the pillow another go. Amazingly, it helped, and has now become my regular pillow. My neck is so much better. If you are a side sleeper I highly recommend trying this pillow. It is an adjustment but it does make all the difference.
fully expected to ditch it for my old pillow on the 1st night as I've done with previous memory foam pillows but haven't. I think it needs to come in a smaller depth size as it is slightly higher than I'd like. If the indentation lined up with my ear, that would be even better.

The shape and firmness/softness are pretty awesome. The only thing keeping this from being the ultimate pillow is that it keeps heat. My neck is way too warm throughout the night. Other than that, this appears to be the solution after 10 years of trying nearly every pillow there is in the world
